D.I.Y ? You can hire DISCO EQUIPMENT from us !
If you are on a tight budget or have D.J'd before, we can supply you a full rig [or just the bits you need].
All we ask is that you treat the
equipment as if it were your own and supply your own CD's.
[OK, you can borrow a few if you're really stuck !]

Want to hire from
us ? Before you contact, please read the following:-
TIPS & INFORMATION for Hirers
- "Knight
Entertainments" will deliver, install and instruct the hirer in use
of the equipment. We will also collect the equipment at the end of the hire
period. Delivery and collection is free of charge to addresses within a 5 mile
radius of Hatfield, Brookmans Park and St. Albans. To other areas a small charge
will apply.
- Ensure your party guests do not leave drinks on or near the equipment and
leads!
- Once set up, designate only one or two people to operate the equipment -
preferably with experience. Do not push UV meters in the red or allow the
amplifier to 'clip' [overload]. This will be noticeable at high volume if the
sound regularly dips. Damage to the amplifier and speakers may result and the
cost of repair will be passed onto you, the hirer.
- Once the EQ on the mixer is set, leave it alone. Most modern CD's are mastered
so EQ adjustment is not required.
- At the end of your party, turn off the lights and allow them to cool for 10-15
minutes before handling. This can prevent blown bulbs and additional charges to
you, the hirer on collection.
TERMS & CONDITIONS of Hire
1] All hirers must
be 21 or over [Proof of age may be required].
2] A minimum of two forms of I.D will be required before hire is accepted by
"Knight Entertainments". The hirer must supply either a
current Passport or Driving licence + a recent bill showing proof of address. eg.
Utility bill, Council tax bill, Telephone bill, Credit Card bill, etc.
Photocopied items are not acceptable.
3] "Knight Entertainments" reserves the right to refuse
hire without giving reason verbally or in writing.
4] A cash deposit of £50 will be required in advance where the Total Amount Due
[minus deposit] is less than £200. A cash deposit of £100 will be required in
advance where the Total Amount Due [minus deposit] is £200 or more. Cash
deposits will be returned at the end of the hire period if the equipment is
received in good, clean condition and full working order.
5] All hire charges will be paid by the hirer in advance by cash. Any exceptions
must be agreed in writing by Leon Knight [Proprietor] of "Knight
Entertainments".
6] The equipment will be tested for safety by "Knight Entertainments" and the hirers' signature will be an acceptance of the equipment
in safe working condition at installation. During the hire period, the hirer is
responsible for any personal injury, claim or costs that may result from persons
coming into contact with the equipment.
7] All loses or damage to equipment during the hire period will be billed to the
hirer and the hirer will automatically forfeit the return of the cash deposit.
Loses will be charged by "Knight Entertainment" to the
hirer based on the manufacture retail price of new equipment [on a replacement
basis]. Damaged equipment will be charged at reasonable repair cost which will
be made clear to the hirer before repair begins and is billed to the hirer.
8] Under no circumstances should the hirer attempt to repair the equipment
without the consent of "Knight Entertainments" in writing.
9] "Knight Entertainments" reserves the absolute right
without giving reason to terminate the contract with the hirer and repossess the
equipment.
